If you’ve ever left an interview feeling unseen — or stepped into a job that looked good on paper but slowly drained your energy — you’re not alone. I’ve been there too, and I want better for you.
I created Little Raes of Sunshine because I believe you deserve to feel supported, not just screened. That your caregiving style, your personality, and your needs matter just as much as the family’s. That’s why I take time to get to know you as a whole person, so we can find a role that feels like a genuine match — one where you feel respected, appreciated, and excited to show up.

Our Caregiver-Centric Services
Many agencies focus on surface-level logistics: timing, skills, experience, location. While those are important, we go deeper -- helping you find a family who matches the emotional tone, structure, and values that you've formed and find comfort in.

Step 1: Getting to Know You As a Caregiver
Fill out the intake form, complete the style & values assessment, and have a one-on-one conversation with a recruiter.
Through the information you provide in this step, we will gain a complete understanding of your caregiving style and create a comprehensive profile for you based on that information.
Step 2: The Search
Once you are ready, we will start looking for families we feel you align with.
If you're previous experience is sufficient, we will begin sending out your profile to different families we think will make a good match. You will also have the opportunity to look over their file to see if the job, environment, etc., aligns with what you're looking for.
Step 3: Onboarding and Support
Once we find a good match we will help facilitate onboarding and support you there after.
After we've completed preliminary interviews and found a good match for you, we will help guide you through the process of onboarding and be there to support you thereafter. by answering any questions you may have or just providing general support to ensure a smooth transition.
Training That Sets You Apart
At Little Raes Of Sunshine, we believe that great caregivers deserve great support. That's why we've partnered with a local licensed daycare to offer foundational and specialized training opportunities. Whether you're new to childcare or looking to grow in areas like supporting neurodiverse children, or emotional regulation, this partnership provides hands-on insight, guided modules, and opportunities to build confidence before being placed with a family.
These trainings are designed to deepen your skills, help you stand out, and prepare you to walk into a home not just as a helper, but as a trusted extension of the family working to aid the child in reaching important developmental milestones.
